Naturally you are asking is it worth it, what will you get for your money? Well we will be holding open meetings with talks by prominent people and historians. We will be having guided walks around the historical and interesting parts of the village. We are hoping to arrange visits to places that are not generally available to the public. In order to provide these events we will incur costs and will have to charge entry to those wishing to attend.
As a member however you would get reduced or even free entry to the Society events. There will be a regular news letter informing you of what is going on.
Membership helps by giving the Society an income to enable it to book events in advance rather than having to raise money before it can plan anything. Also you would be part of the society and able to attend general meetings to pass on your ideas, or even criticise if necessary

Membership is in three categories. .......
Charges are pro rata after each quarter. Start of year is April 1st
Single £10 per annum
Couple £18 per annum
