A photographic comparison of the High Street shops taken a few years apart. The number of shops in the High Street is diminishing although not at an alarming rate. This may not be specific to the village but is a worrying occurrence throughout the country.
There are three studies covering 2014, 2017 and 2022. They are not in depth statistical studies but just general photo observations of the High Street taken mainly for personal use. However, you may find them of some interest.
